COLDSKY.CN – Lefit, Hangzhou-based fitness start-up, is dramatically expanding its digital transformation service for traditional gyms and health clubs across the country.

The company established in 2015 offers digital solutions to streamline management and operation related to users, trainers and services, improving the efficiency and cost-control, according to sports news website lanxiongsports.com.

Liu Danian, Lefit’s empowerment general manager, said the digital solution can help cut the number of full-time staff for a gym of 800-1,200 square meters from 20+ to just 2-3.

The Lefit app has over 5 million registered users and 8,000 trainers, active in 500 stores in 14 cities. Sales transactions through the app reached 101 million yuan in May, up 11 percent year on year, although some stores in Beijing and Wuhan were still closed due to coronavirus. 

Lefit aims to take a  more aggressive campaign this year to build smart gym presences in six more cities and launch 1,000 stores in total by the end of next year. 

 The brand offers the private fitness monthly service called FEELINGME in 15 stores in Hangzhou since 2018. Such FEELINGME gyms, about 200-300 square meters each, also offer free coffee, snacks and fruits free of charge to members who pay 2,280 yuan a month

To increase the customer engagement,  the program organize the monthly socializing events including matchmaking, dumpling-making and hotpot dinner.
