COLDSKY.CN – The sports subsidiary of Chinese retail giant Suning Holdings Group reached an agreement with the China School Sports Federation (CSSF) on May 18 to cooperate in event promotion and youth sports training.

The owner of Italian soccer giant Inter Milan and the Jiangsu Suning Football Club, 

Suning Sports plans to promote football among youngsters through charitable events, training and tournaments. 

According to the agreement, Suning Sports, which also owns media platform PP Sports, will become the new media partner of CSSF’s charity initiative “I’m a PE Teacher” and offer the chance for promising young football players to access its training resources. 

PP Sports will provide full coverage of CSSF Cup matches as well as training programs online and offline.

The CSSF, established in 1973 under the administration of the Ministry of Education, organizes 78 sports events a year through more than 40 programs that have nearly 300,000 participants. 

Xue Yanqing, president of CSSF, said the cooperation is expected to boost coordinated development between on-campus football programs and professional football training.

Suning Sports has already worked with the Amity Foundation to sponsor development of 2,000 sports classrooms, football teams at 100 rural elementary schools and the training of 759 coaches.
