Shenzhen-based tech company Xunlei said it has acquired FCC and CE certifications, clearing the way for launch of cloud computing services in the United States and Europe.
Xunlei said its OneCloud service can lower costs for photo storage, video and other functions by having users contribute idle bandwidth and storage capacity. The company has received more than 30 million orders for its hardware priced at 499 yuan ($77) used to operate the OneCloud service, according to its official website.
