COLDSKY.CN – Hikicker Youth Football Club （爱踢客）received the investment of 39.5 million yuan from Xingzhi Sports, an affiliate of IDG Capital and also listed on China’s National Equities Exchange and Quotations (NEEQ), known as the “new third board,” in December last year.
Hikicker founder Li Zhao said the fund will be used to hire high-level coaches, standardize football training program and improve training quality.
Hikicker, founded in 2014, offers football training service for children 4-12 years old, divided into two categories – the Standard Class with four levels and the Elite Class.
Hikicker operates 25 training centers in Beijing and Shanghai, with 70 full-time trainers and nearly 3,000 students. Each session costs about 200 yuan, with the annual fee for Elite Class member at 18,000 yuan. It also cooperates with Beijing’s primary and middle schools to help train students as the country boosts support for football education.
In 2019, the company’s revenues from individual students and school partnership accounted 30 percent and 70 percent, respectively.
