COLDSKY.CN – Airlook (埃洛克航空科技), a Beijing-based 3D mapping service, has worked with the CAS Institute of Geographic Sciences and Natural Resources Research to launch a high-precision 3D mapping product AirlookMap.
AirlookMap makes a precise replica of physical world and can serve for building the digital twin, a virtual model of a city.
It plans to offer 3D maps of 30 cities in ten provinces including Hebei, Henan, Shaanxi, Jiangxi, Zhejiang, Sichuan, Guizhou, Jilin, Hainan and Guangdong. The digital map can meet diversified needs from research institutes, governmental departments, and industries.
Airlook has been a partner of Panoramic Beautiful China, one of nine initiatives under The Big Earth Data Science Engineering Project (CASEarth)
The company’s urban safety service City Catcher(http://x.airlook.com/EN) is a rapid response system that consists of a Flight Command Center and multiple landing pads for drones. Based on the 3D map of a city and the real-time data from cameras, safety response can be better launched, such as for fire control, traffic management and security inspection.
