COLDSKY.CN – Instead of sending children to professional facilities for sports skills training, some parents are interested in the visit of trainers to coach a temporary group near home, a niche market exploited by some SMEs, reported sports media and investment platform lanxiongsports.com.
Beijing’s teenager basketball training service provider East Star(东方启明星) and Hangzhou-based teenager sports training agency Bingo Spors(宾果体育) reported encouraging operation from such services, which are usually less demanding on venue and equipment, in a neighbourhood or park.
Bingo Sports CEO Rao Xingxing said classes with three to five students and at a cost of 300 yuan are most welcomed by parents.
Bingo Sports, established in 2018, uses an app to run physical training programs for 3-16 years old, such as rope-skipping and basketball.
However, such on-site training programs are facing many difficulties to scale up, such as quality control, weather changes, and more affordable services at well-equipped gyms.
