COLDSKY.CN – AIpark (爱泊车), a camera monitoring– based parking service provider, has raised +100M yuan in Series C round of financing.
The company, established in June 2015, expanded business mainly in Qinhuangdao City, Handan City, Shijiazhuang City and Zhangjiakou City, all in North China’s Hebei Province until 2017.
It then opened its Shenzhen branch in 2018 and won the approval of Beijing’s sideway parking technology assessment in Feb. 2018, which seemed to be a milestone. As the capital city increased electronic toll collection system, the company has won project biddings in several districts and also received more attention of capital market.
The new financing came from BOCOM International(交银国际), industrial fund of 58.com, (58产业基金) and Caixin Fund(湖南财信基金), according to 163.com.
With AIPark Skyeye cameras installed near the parking space, AI and cloud support, the system makes real-time monitoring of vehicle and passenger at a spot, and can accurately identify a car’s move, plate information, car physical features, and other information, with little interruption by bad weather. It also runs AIpark One, a park space managent system.
This Sohu report also said the images and videos captured by the cameras provided evidence to address car accidents and disputes, so it helped improve urban management.
