The wireless container supports ultraviolet sterilization, blow drying to get rid of mould, bacteria and virus onkitchen knives and tableware like forks and spoons. It became a sensation on social media platforms first in last April.
Huoji now rises into a stylish brand of creative kitchen appliance with many fans among younger consumers. Mainly thriving on e-commerce sites, it has sold over 300,000 units.
Su Wei of Qingsong Fund said traditional giants including Media(美的), Supor(苏泊尔)and Joyoung (九阳) have dominated the offline market while Huoji has showed rapid growth due to insights into retail market among young people.
